ACCESS GROUPS

When someone initially launches your Team App on their smartphone or tablet they will be given an option to choose which access group(s) to join. Their choices are from this list of access groups below. Once they request access, their request will appear in the members area in the previous dashboard screen. You (Full Admin) can choose to accept or reject these requests.

You may choose to launch your App with our default access group ‘players and officials’ below or add your own. Some example groups you might create are; Parents, Committee, Under 18’s, Seniors, Youth, Varsity, Freshman, Leadership group, Past Players, etc. You can place members into a single group or multiple groups. There is no limit to how many access groups you can create. You choose which group(s) you want to receive your messages when you send out any communications.

Members who join without requesting a group can only access “Public” content. They only see weblinks, standings, fixtures and other content that you make public. Content visibility in your app is restricted by access groups. For example, if you send a news item to just your ‘players’ access group, then only members in that group can see the information.

Select ‘Edit’ next to an access group to make fields mandatory for members when requesting access to your App.
To re-order the position that your access groups will display in your App simply click and drag on the up/down arrows to move.
